Michael Jones, a 52-year-old electrician, randomly chose a car registration number he came up with and won a Pick 5 lottery prize. Michael Jones was watching television at his house when he learned that he had livestock. The Maryland State Lottery said:
“He was checking his Pick 5 tickets for the drawing on the night of October 8 when a 50-cent ticket gave him a shocking surprise.” Jones said, “When I saw my numbers catch up, I had to look at it two or three times to make sure.” He went on to say, “I know it was someone’s badge number, but I can’t remember whose badge number.
