As the city grapples with this gruesome murder, a Twitter user revealed details about another University of Idaho student who was mercilessly murdered in the city.
His death has remained a mystery to the city for 41 years. The Twitter user revealed about Kristin David, writing: “On June 26, 1981, 22-year-old college student Kristin David was riding a bicycle from Moscow, Idaho to Lewiston, Idaho when she disappeared. Eight days later, her remains dismembered bodies were found in garbage bags by a fisherman along the bank of the nearby Snake River.

Incident Detail
David, a 22-year-old University of Idaho senior, was last seen alive on Friday, June 26, 1981, while traveling south on US 95 toward Lewiston, Idaho. David’s fragmented remains were discovered in and along the Snake River six miles west of Clarkston, Washington, in an area just west of Silcott Island, on July 4, 1981.
The next day some, but not all, of the wreckage was discovered somewhere downriver. The body parts were wrapped in pages from various local newspaper issues from April 1981 and were hidden inside black plastic bags. David’s blue 10-speed bike, clothing and other personal belongings have never been found, People reported.
However, the defendant was never caught until now, but the police had a suspect under the radar. The unidentified suspect was described as a white male, in his 30s, weighing approximately 180 pounds and standing about 5’10” tall. The unknown suspect was also characterized as stocky or stocky with a beard.
