Actor Michael Kopsa Biography

Kopsa was well-known for his roles as Commander Volcott O’Huey in Galaxy Angel and Char Aznable in the English dub of Mobile Suit Gundam. Both of these roles were played in the series. Additionally, he lent his voice to the character of Beast in X-Men: Evolution. In addition to that, he has had guest appearances on various episodes of the science fiction television series Stargate SG-1, as well as The X-Files, The Net, and The Outer Limits. In the fourth and fifth seasons of the show “Fringe,” he played the role of Captain Windmark, a recurring antagonist from the Observer.

He was formerly married to the actress Lucia Frangione, and they had one daughter together during their time together. On October 23, 2022, at the age of 66, Kopsa passed away as a result of complications caused by a brain tumor.
