Three people, including a mother and her three-year-old son, were found dead inside a Connecticut home on Valentine’s Day. Lury Pizarro, and her son Emanual, 3, were discovered around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Brooklyn home after police received a “suspicious incident report,” according to a Connecticut State Police news release.

José A. Pérez, was also found dead at the scene. Police have not released information on the relationship between the dead, but said the deaths so far appear to be “an isolated incident.” ”
There is no continuing threat to the public,” the statement said. “The investigation is still active and ongoing.”
Neighbors near the home reported hearing gunshots that night, according to NBC 10 News. A GoFundMe page described Pizarro as an amazing and loving mother, daughter, sister and cousin.”
“She was an overall amazing person,” the page says. “Lury was a kind and generous person who touched the lives of many. She was selfless and always helping others.
Emmanuel was a smart, caring, caring and playful 3-year-old. I am saddened and heartbroken by how excited she was Lury to become a mother. It was something she wanted so badly.”
