Sonia Loja, a mother of three, is suspected of the horrific murder-suicide of her three children in Danbury, Connecticut. Police reported that the 36-year-old mother appeared to have strangled Junior Panjon, 12, Joselyn Panjon, 10, and Jonael Panjon, 5.
The reports of the family’s official autopsies have not yet been made public, but according to the police, Loja appeared to have died from asphyxia by hanging. Following a terrifying 911 call, police officers found the terrible scene inside a Danbury residence on Wednesday.
At 6.30 p.m., police were called to the residence after receiving a distressed call from a sobbing person. Loja and her kids shared a home with two other adults, but they weren’t there when the cops showed up.
Authorities discovered the three kids deceased inside the house. In the shed, where a woman’s body was discovered, police encountered another horrifying discovery.

After that police believe she committed suicide.

Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour stated that the event appeared to be isolated and that the neighborhood is not currently in danger. Riding horse said to News 12: “State’s Attorney has been notified their inspector and State’s Attorney have been here as well,”
“And they’ll be talking to any neighbors and any possible witnesses and getting some background on the victims and talking to family members.
“It’s a really extremely difficult time for many of the officers, especially those who had to go inside, We are ensuring their mental health and well-being is being taken care of at this time, as well.”

The father of the kids, Pedro Panjon, posted an upsetting image on social media on Wednesday night, displaying a black ribbon with the words: “Rest in peace, now you are in a better place with God.”
Additionally, he shared a number of touching images of Loja and the kids in earlier stages of their lives. One had Jonael’s mother holding him in her arms while the other kids watched over a birthday cake with a lit No. 1 candle.

This morning, at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Farmington, an autopsy is planned. In a statement, Mayor Dean Esposito stated: “A truly horrible event occurred in our city yesterday and we mourn the tragic loss of life. In the coming days, mental health and counseling services will be provided through collaboration with the Danbury Public Schools and the City of Danbury.”
“Our community grieves for the innocent lives taken from us. We will get through this together,”
