Friends and family of the late rapper Coolio reveal that he battled “severe asthma” and used to carry inhalers to regulate his breathing, pointing out that the artist’s sudden death could be due to his asthmatic condition. Rapper Coolio died on September 28, at the age of 59, after being found unconscious on the bathroom floor of a friend’s house in Los Angeles.
Relatives of the late ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ rapper have told authorities that he “battled” a lung condition for many years. His friend from Los Angeles had to break down the door to see how he was doing. Shortly after, paramedics showed up on the scene and worked with the rapper for 45 minutes while trying to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
