A Florida woman was arrested March 16 after police officers in Cocoa, Florida, said she threatened a McDonald’s employee and pointed a gun at him. Quavi Young, 26, was jailed on three charges: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, open carry of a weapon and driving on a suspended license.According to his arrest report, Young stopped his car at the drive-through and ordered a meal that wasn’t on the menu.
When the McDonald’s worker told Young that his order couldn’t be filled because he wasn’t on the menu, Young stopped at the first drive-thru window and demanded that his order be taken, according to police. The worker asked Young what was wrong with her and why she was so angry, and in response, Young pulled out a gun, pointed it at the worker and said “she’ll push you back,” according to the arrest report

Young then drove to the next window, police said. When officers arrived at the McDonald’s, they found a black M&P pistol with a drum-style magazine “capable of holding up to 50 rounds” in Young’s passenger seat, officers said.
McDonald’s workers told police this was the second time Young had been at the fast-food restaurant that night, but they did not provide details about her first encounter. The officers arrested Young and later admitted that she knew her license had been suspended, according to her arrest report. Young is scheduled for a court arraignment on April 13, 2023.
