Mission Local adds that the pair had reportedly been travelling around town together just before the suspected murder, suggesting that the attack did not appear to be random. According to accounts, after an alleged altercation in the car, Lee reportedly escaped on foot, and Momeni is accused of fatally stabbing him in the streets of San Francisco.
According to unnamed sources cited by KGO-TV, Lee was stabbed twice in the chest. He then sought assistance from the neighbourhood cops before passing away there. Krista Lee, Lee’s ex-wife, revealed that an arrest had been made in relation to his slaying in an interview with KTVU-TV.
She reportedly said, “This is the first step towards justice,” according to the station. Lee worked as a product manager for the cryptocurrency business MobileCoin, which released a statement last week confirming his passing.
