The day after she passed away, authorities claimed, Lauren Heike’s remains were discovered in a location where she would not have been “easily viewable by those that utilise the trail.” Heike, an avid hiker, was “attacked from behind and died as a result of her injuries” on the Reach 11 path just north of Phoenix on Friday morning at around 10 a.m., according to Phoenix PD Homicide Lt. James Hester.

Hester continued, “We think that someone would have seen this person, either before the incident or after he departed from our scene. “The behaviour was so heinous in my opinion that I would imagine the subject would be exhibiting symptoms that look out of character,” the author wrote. She stood up and spoke with her companions. Her mother, Lana Heike, said, “It was her day off, she had her coffee, and she went strolling, and she was happy, joyful — it helps us a lot. “We need people’s assistance to tell us what followed,” Everyone who met her adored her, said Lana of her daughter, “she had such a kind heart.”According to jail records, Teasley was arrested in Maricopa County on Friday morning.
