In prior interviews, Kline had lied to detectives, saying that he had never sent Libby any images and that he had only ever messaged her once for a “couple of hours.” Officers eventually confronted him with the information that they had about ‘Anthony_Shots’s’ many weeks of messaging with Libby, proposing to buy her gifts and sending images of ‘himself’ and what he claimed to be his Ferrari.
