Police said Wednesday that the “investigation is still very active and ongoing at this time.” The university’s athletic department paid tribute to Sterling on social media, writing: “Clark Atlanta Athletics sends condolences to Sterling’s family and friends. Gone too soon Keep Jatonne’s family in your prayers.”
