Athena Brownfield’s biological mother has been detained for allegedly abandoning her two small children in the care of Alysia Adams and Ivon Adams before going missing for more than a year. He then placed her on the ground and struck her in the chest at least three more times. After that, [Athena] didn’t move again.
Authorities reported that when the man returned, “he told Alysia that he buried her near a fence next to her former residence in Rush Springs.” He told her that he covered the burial site with a sizable broken branch.
