Quan took to Instagram and shared two heartwarming photos of the two of them catching up. The two seemed to have matching wardrobes, ‘twinning’ with their gray jeans and blazers. Quan was seen wrapping his arms around the veteran star. The usually grumpy Harrison Ford smiled at the camera with one of his rare smiles. “I love you, Indy,” Quan wrote in the caption, referencing a famous moment from “Indiana Jones: Temple Of Doom.” “Indiana Jones and Short Round are reunited after 38 years,” he added.
Ford met up with his old friend while at D23 to promote his upcoming fifth Indiana Jones movie, which is being directed by Logan’s James Mangold, who replaced Spielberg in the latest franchise. Ford confirmed in the presentation that this would be the last reprisal of him as Indiana Jones. “This is it! I will not fall for you again,” he joked to the crowd. The famous actor was visibly excited when he talked about the upcoming movie after a preview was played for fans. “The Indiana Jones movies are about mystery and adventure, but also about the heart, and I’m very, very happy that we have a really human story to tell, as well as a movie that will kick your ass.” he added he.
