Harold Riley, a 50-year-old man, died on February 15, 2023. He died after a dog’s leash became entangled in a train door and was dragged across the platform of the Dunn Loring subway station in Vienna, Virginia. His daughter, Olivia Stark, created a GoFundMe fundraising campaign to help arrange a fine service and cremation for Riley.
The campaign has already earned about $2,760 of its $3,000 goal. The GoFundMe description said Riley loved his grandchildren and his dog, Daisy, who were with him when he was at the subway station.
