The arrest of 61-year-old Garry Macdonald in connection with two armed robberies that took place on March 30 has been announced by the Stockbridge Police Department.
Macdonald is charged with robbing the Georgia Credit Union at 430 Country Club Drive and the Truist Bank at 991 Eagles Landing Parkway in Stockbridge, according to the police. Macdonald submitted a note requesting money in both cases.

Soon after leaving the Truist Bank facility with thousands of dollars in cash and the note used in the robberies, officers caught up with Macdonald. He is now accused of obstruction and two counts of armed robbery.
