Andrews had two operations and in November she received a call from her doctor informing her that the procedures had been successful and she was reportedly cancer free.
After winning the battle against cancer, in an interview with ET’s Deidre Behar, Andrews said: “I get really emotional. My family has been through a lot with everything I’ve been through in my life, and it’s like they need a break. My husband, it was a lot to deal with, and I really don’t like dealing with things like this in my life.
I want to talk about next year’s Super Bowl and Dancing with the Stars and the fall season and all of that. It’s a lot but, to be honest with you, it could have been a lot worse and it could have gone a different way. So luckily it didn’t and luckily I went and got tested.”
