The sheriff’s office says Chelsea Crompton is accused of killing a four-year-old girl in Catawba County. Agents announced earlier this week that they were investigating possible criminal activity surrounding the death of Hazel Lidey at a residence in Vale, California. On November 25, it was announced that Hazel’s father’s girlfriend, Chelsea Crompton, had been charged with murder in the young woman’s death.
