Biju Menon is an Indian animator, voice animator and creator who has mainly worked on Malayalam films along with some Tamil and Telugu films. He has appeared in more than 150 movies and some of them are Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu, Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Aarkkariyam, Khatarnak, Arasangam, Pathram, Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu, Millennium Stars, Cover Story, Meghamalhar, Mulla, TD Dasan Std.

Over time, Biju Menon has won quite a few awards for his work including something like 1 National Film Grant, 3 Kerala State Film Awards, 2 South Filmfare Awards and 9 Asianet Film Awards.

He rejuvenated Manicka Vel’s persona in the 2005 Tamil-language masala film Majaa, a change from the Malayalam film Thommanum Makkalum.

In 2012, Biju Menon took on the role of Suku (KSRTC’s conductor from Palakkad) in the chilling Malayalam parody film Ordinary. For this work, he won the Filmfare Award South for “Best Supporting Actor (Malayalam)” as well as the Asianet Film Award for “Best Character Actor”.

He played Baiju Kumbalam in the 2017 Malayalam satire film Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu and this earned him the Asianet Comedy Award for “Most Popular Actor” and Anand TV Award for “Famous Actor”.

Biju Menon appeared as CS Ullas Kumar in the tongue-in-cheek 2019 Malayalam film Nalpathiyonnu (41).

Near Prithviraj, he co-starred as SI Ayyappan Nair aka Mundoor Madan in the 2020 Malayalam thrill ride film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. This work earned him the Kerala Film Critics Award in the “Best Actor” category, as well as the 68th National Film Award in the “Best Supporting Actor” category.

He co-starred as Ittyavira (Itty) (a resigned math educator who lives alone in Palai, Kottayam) in the 2021 secret program film Aarkkariyam. For this performance, Biju Menon was awarded the Kerala State Film Award for “Best Actor”.
