He worked in law enforcement for nearly 24 years, including time in the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Houma Police Department before beginning his career with the LPSO. Christie, Pepper’s wife, works as an investigator for the Lafourche Parish District Attorney through the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.
She also leaves behind a son, Nicholas Jr., as well as two daughters, Patience and Grace. Police said that a suspect rammed the Lafourche parish deputy’s car, which led to the deputy’s death.
