A suburban Atlanta police officer was charged with kidnapping and murdering a girl who went missing in July 2022. The nude body of 16-year-old Susana Morales was later found in the woods. He was reportedly charged with one count of concealing the death of another person and one count of false reporting of a crime.

Police confirmed that the false report of a felony charge, misdemeanor charge, and concealment charge stemmed from his attempt to conceal the victim’s for a period of time between July 26, 2022 at 10:20 p.m. . m. and 1:40 a.m. m. on July 27, 2022.
