Erie Police officers responding to a disturbance call on Arlington Road in the early morning of October 13, 2021 encountered a woman on the front porch of a residence. Pavlisin, 35, of Conneaut, Ohio, was placed in the Erie County Jail on $250,000 bond after Erie District 1 District Judge Sue Mack charged him with kidnapping for inflicting injury or terror , child kidnapping and aggravated assault; and for the misdemeanor threats of terrorism, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.
Pavlisin was taken back to Erie Thursday from the Mansfield Correctional Institution in Ohio, according to Erie police arrest records. It was not known Friday whether Pavlisin had been in custody in Ohio on the Erie warrant or on charges in another case.
