As police interrogate a man detained in connection with the double homicide, the mother of four who was killed with her new lover has been named. Katie Higton, 27, was fatally stabbed on Monday morning at her £90,000 house in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, along with her new boyfriend.
A three-year-old girl and a six-month-old boy were the children that Katie, a mental health nurse, had with the alleged murderer. She was the mother of two elder kids from a previous union.
