SINGER Julee Cruise has died at the age of 65 after battling ill health, according to reports. The Twin Peaks title track musician from Iowa passed away on June 9, 2022, her husband revealed.

In an emotional Facebook post, Edward Grinnan said: “She left this kingdom on her own terms. No regrets. She is at peace.
“I played [B-52’s song] Roam during her transition. She now she will wander forever. She rests in peace, my love.” Cruise was best known for Ella Falling de Ella, which became the theme song for Twin Peaks.
The ’90s drama series was created by David Lynch, whom she described as his “older brother,” and Mark Frost.
