According to Nebraska police, a man has been charged with murder after fatally killing his stepfather during a family gathering. Ewins stated during a press conference webcast on Monday by the Lincoln Journal Star that Mark Kruger, 59, passed away after being brought to a hospital. At the scene, police detained the stepson. The police chief said he was charged with second-degree murder.

The police chief stated, “This is a horrible tragedy for this family, and our hearts go out to them. “The loss of a husband and the arrest of a stepson can’t even begin to describe what they’re feeling right now.”
