Joe Nathan James was captured for the Faith Mall homicide and sentenced to death quite some time ago.  Currently, the Alabama jail is preparing to execute Joe for killing his ex. He is scheduled to be killed by fatal infusion at an Alabama prison Thursday night for the homicide of his ex a while back.

It is an execution that the victim’s family has tried to prevent. In a move filed with the help of legal counsel, James sought to have the United States Supreme Court stay his execution.

It refers to three places: that the victim’s family, his three children, at that time did not want him to be executed; and execution would contradict the victim’s First Amendment privileges; that executing him would break his First Amendment liberties as an essaying Muslim, referring to a section of the Qur’an “2:178”.

A large number of Nathan’s family and dear friends know that he will soon be executed, but he has not received the last benefits in his last minutes.

He was seen consuming ordinary dishes for lunch and dinner. James had no guests Thursday except to speak with Ransom and two other attorneys.
