A Phoenix family of five is killed after a father murdered his wife and three young children before committing suicide. Jasen Michael Hudgens, 44, took the life of his wife Marla Jordan Hudgens, 40, their son Christopher Hudgens, 3, and 6-month-old twins Gwen and Faye Hudgens, according to Phoenix police.
According to multiple reports, the family’s nanny found the bodies and called the police. Police said in an earlier statement that open propane tanks were found inside the home. There was also a gas line in the house and it was not connected to any appliances in the kitchen.

They were first called to the Augusta Avenue home at 8:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday “regarding an unresponsive person inside the home with a strong odor of gas,” according to the statement. “Haz Mat teams entered the home and found several victims dead.”
