A group of seven to eleven guys attacked the security guard outside the Hollywood nightclub where he worked, brutally beating him to death and leaving him to bleed to death on the sidewalk. At 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, Daniel Sandifer, 32, was working his shift as a security officer at the Dragonfly Hollywood nightclub when a group of men confronted him angrily, according to ABC7.
The helpless Sandifer was attacked by the herd of suspects, who lunged on her and caused her to fall to the ground. The frightening attack that left Sandifer unconscious and unable to breathe was carried out, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, without a clear motive. They calculate that there are seven to eleven people in their 20s in the group.

Father-of-two Sandifer, from Compton, California, was taken to a nearby hospital but died shortly after. Brittany Jones, Sandifer’s ex-wife, expressed her sadness at finding that her children’s father had passed away while she was at work.
Jones said KCAL News, “I’m genuinely saddened by this.” You have no idea how much this pains me as the mother of your kids. Even so, she begged others to come forward with information to aid the continuing inquiry. Jones continued, “If anyone has any knowledge, I beg that they kindly provide it and help to try and seek justice for Daniel.
According to the LA Times, Sandifer worked at the nightclub while mostly taking care of his elderly grandma. In an interview with her source, Evette Sandifer described her cousin as a “hard-working man who dedicated his time to her grandmother, who is in hospice care.” Rapper Tee Grizzley, a native of Detroit, performed at The Dragonfly Hollywood as part of the nightclub’s “Exclusive Saturdays” one mile south of Sunset Boulevard and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The nightclub announced on social media that it will remain closed in the wake of Sandifer’s passing. “Dragonfly will be shut down as we process and grieve the loss of our comrade. Our thoughts are with his family this now,” the Instagram message stated.
