On the evening of April 19, Arvada resident Alexa Bartell perished in a car accident on Indiana Street close to the boundary between Boulder and Jefferson counties. Large landscaping boulders struck seven vehicles early that evening, inflicting more injuries on two more people. The suspects began throwing rocks through the windscreens of parked cars while they were thought to be in a moving vehicle.
