They discovered Marietta resident Caleb Thomas, 19, when they got there. Prior to being sent to Piedmont Cartersville Hospital, first responders attended to the injured teen at the scene. He passed away in the hospital from his wounds. Currently, deputies are searching for the incident’s suspects.
Witnesses stated that Thomas was spotted escaping from a silver Toyota Tacoma with four doors that was parked nearby while two guys pursued him. The victim was assaulted by the two guys before he exited the Toyota, according to witnesses who called the sheriff’s office.
