The Larimer County coroner has identified the two children and one adult who died in a suspected murder-suicide in Fort Collins earlier this month. Fort Collins Police Services responded to a report of three people dead inside a home on Stratton Drive after receiving a call from a man around 10:25 a.m. m. of December 3.

When officers arrived, they attempted to enter the home but received no response. A SWAT team was called to help officers get inside, but once inside, officers discovered the bodies of two children and one adult, all deceased.On Thursday, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as Cameron Zipperer, 8, and Audrey Zipperer,  6, of Timnath; and Adam Zipperer, 36, of Fort Collins.

A forensic pathologist determined that the children died of gunshot wounds and that the cause of their death was listed as homicide. The adult male died of a gunshot wound to the head and his manner of death was ruled a suicide. Police have not released any further details about this investigation.
