After his mother was killed inside their home in what police characterised as a “very vicious homicide,” law enforcement officials in Florida are desperately looking for the 2-year-old kid. The St. Petersburg Police Department reports that after discovering 20-year-old Pashun Jeffrey brutally murdered inside her residence, they have been unable to find little Taylen Mosley.
According to a news statement from the police, officers responded to a 911 call concerning a disturbance at the Lincoln Shores Apartment Complex in the 11000 block of Fourth Street North on Thursday at around 2:30 p.m. First responders claim that when they arrived at the location, they discovered Jeffrey dead while Mosley was missing and “may be in danger.”

At a news conference on Thursday, St. Petersburg Police Chief Anthony Holloway said, “I can tell you it was a very brutal homicide scene within the apartment.” Yet we were unable to locate the 2-year-old. Therefore, right now, trying to locate Taylen [Mosley] is our top priority. Simply said, we just want to make sure the kid is secure.
Mosley was described in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Amber Alert as being 2 feet tall, 30 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. Police claimed on Friday that despite following many leads overnight, they had not been able to find Mosley. Police stated that although Mosley’s father is a “person of interest,” he “does not have the child.”
Police stated, “We now have a brand-new squad canvassing the Entire complex.” Searching adjacent retention ponds is the diving crew of the St. Pete Fire Rescue Department. In spite of the fact that the boy “may be anywhere,” according to Holloway, the boy’s family last saw her and Mosley in the apartment on 4th Street North on Wednesday at around 5:30 p.m.
After making several attempts to reach Jeffrey’s family, they were unsuccessful, so they called her flat management on Thursday afternoon and asked him to check on her and Mosley, according to Holloway. When the manager found her dead, she dialled 911.
One neighbour told police that she heard a “commotion” coming from Jeffrey’s house on Wednesday night but chose not to call the police when they started canvassing other renters, according to Holloway. According to Holloway, authorities are unsure if Mosley was present when his mother was killed inside the flat.
He exhorted neighbours and other local homeowners who might have doorbell cameras or security systems to provide investigators with their recordings. “Call us if you are the parent of this child. Our major worry at the moment is making sure this youngster is safe, so please let us know that they are. “We have no intention of charging anyone. To ensure that the child is safe, we simply need to know where he is right now.
