The latest incident follows a tape the Academy Award-winning actor posted on Instagram in which he claimed he was “really sorry” for performing the stunt with Chris Rock.

Will Smith can be seen leaving Malibu, California’s upscale Nobu restaurant after having lunch with Jada on Saturday, August 13, according to video obtained by TMZ. The 53-year-old actor wore a relaxed suit as he smiled for the cameras. Jada, for her part, opted for a plaid shirt with a black blouse. As they left the restaurant, Jada was seen holding Will’s hand.
Since the 2022 Oscars scandal, Will has faded from the public eye. After slapping Chris Rock on stage, the actor was banned from attending the Oscars. Will Smith was irritated by the comedian’s joke about Jada’s baldness: “Jada, I can’t wait for GI Jane 2!” After Chris Rock returned to his seat, a furious Will Smith stormed onto the stage and slapped him, telling him to refrain from mentioning his wife.
Will Smith released an Instagram video two weeks ago after apologizing for his behavior. Will is heard in the clip saying, “I spent the previous three months replaying and analyzing the nuances and complexity of what happened at the time. I’m not going to try to unravel all of that now, but I can assure you that no part of me believes that was the appropriate course of action at the time. There isn’t a part of me that believes that’s the best response to feeling disrespected or insulted.
