When Jamie Lee Komoroski allegedly struck a golf cart carrying newlyweds Samantha Miller and Aric Hutchinson in April, she was allegedly more than three times over the legal blood alcohol limit. Hutchinson had “reconstruction surgeries, numerous broken bones, and a brain injury,” according to a GoFundMe campaign set up by Aric Hutchinson’s mother Annette. Two other people were hurt, but they lived.
According to the toxicological results from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, Komoroski allegedly had a blood alcohol level of 0.261 percent, according to WCSC. The outlet claims that Komoroski was observed by numerous witnesses as being “dazed and confused” after reportedly driving 65 mph in a 25 mph zone and colliding with the golf cart, according to an amended report by the Folly Beach Police Department.

Authorities also claimed that Komoroski nearly collapsed when asked to do the sobriety test in a previously made public affidavit.
