A woman has reportedly praised Adriana Kuch, who ended her life two days after being inhumanely bullied at school, for saving her son’s life. A video of Kuch bravely diving into a pool to save Roaxanne Gattuso’s daughter has been making the rounds since the teen died.
Gattuso said she felt “unbearable pain” since she heard the news of Kuch’s death. Kuch, 14, committed suicide at her home on February 3, two days after a video of her being attacked by a group of girls went viral. In the video, she is seen bleeding, bruised and unconscious. The four girls who attacked her before she died have been suspended and face criminal charges.

Gattuso, a neighbor, reportedly said Kuch was like a “big sister” to her nine-year-old triplets Luciana, Nico and Franco. Gattuso recalled the moment when Luciana “swallowed water and almost drowned” and, without thinking twice, Kuch took off his sweatshirt, jumped into the pool and saved her. Gatusso said she met the 14-year-old girl when she and her father, Michael, moved to the area about six years ago.
She said Kuch became a “second daughter” to her, helping teach her sons to ride a bike and was a regular at her home, according to the Daily Mail. Gattuso’s husband died in 2021 and she said Kuch got her through that difficult time. She said: “I still can’t bring myself to tell them that Adriana was such an important part of their lives. [After I lost my husband] my kids kept asking ‘who else is going to die, mom’?
They just adored Adriana like that I couldn’t tell you.” Gattuso is the founder of the NJ based company Angelic Care Couture Wigs. It showed her being kicked, punched, and punched while she was curled up in a fetal position in the school hallway.
Shortly after her death, the four girls, accused of attacking Kuch, were indicted on a series of charges. Another girl was charged with stalking, two others with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, and a girl was charged with aggravated assault and can appear in court as an adult.
After Kuch’s death, her father Michael said she was bullied and authorities did nothing to help her. He wrote on Facebook: “I received the first video the day this happened because my daughter was tagged in it and she brought it to me (they used this video to make fun of her online) believe me I called everyone and there was no action. taken by anyone. The second video was given to me by someone who contacted me online.
Initially, they told me that K. was trying to end the fight. Also, they never told me that they hit her in the face with a 3x bottle. Also, they never told me my daughter passed out, and all they did was take her to the school nurse. the school did not even file a police report. They told me that was not her policy. so I had to take my daughter covered in blood to the local police station.”
“If the school contacted the police and filed a report and conducted an investigation, these videos could have been discovered immediately. if these idiots hadn’t been dumb enough to post this crap online, Ar. he would have received a 10 day suspension, and the other 3 would have gotten away with no consequences. I want the whole world to know what these animals did to my daughter. I won’t sleep until her family has to see them stand in front of a judge and plead guilty,” he added to his post.
