Actor and comedian Richard Belzer has died at the age of 78. The star of ‘The Homicide: Life on the Street’ and ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ breathed his last at his home in Bozouls, in southwestern France. The 78-year-old made his debut in the movie ‘The Groove Tube’.
Meanwhile, Bill Scheft, a friend of Belzer’s, confirmed his death, according to The New York Times. Scheft has been working on a documentary about Belzer’s life and claimed that the actor had suffered from circulatory and respiratory illnesses for years.
