A former Swiss international footballer who was once one of the most promising young stars in the country has been found dead in Bosnia and Herzegovina today. Karim Gazzetta, 27, was found lifeless in front of his house in the city of Mostar, 45 miles south of the capital, Sarajevo, early this morning.
The police are investigating, but the Bosnian media reports that Gazzetta, who played for the local team Zrinjski at that time, had committed suicide jumping from the building. An attacker midfielder, Gazzetta was considered a young Swiss football talent that had been limited four times by the national team of children under 20 in 2015.
