According to a complaint, a 20-year-old Georgia mother accuses a doctor of decapitating her baby after birth and then placing his head against her body to conceal what they had done. According to the lawsuit, Dr. St. Julian did not inform Ross and her family about her beheading when she spoke to them about 5 a.m. on July 10. The bereaved couple accused the hospital of attempting to conceal what happened by refusing an autopsy and urged them to cremate their son.
“They were so excited about the birth of their first child,” attorney Cory Lynch explained. “Unfortunately, her hopes and dreams were turned into a nightmare that was covered up by Southern Regional Medical Center.” The lawsuit requests that Ross and Taylor be compensated for their baby’s suffering and death, as well as the “tremendous mental and physical anguish and trauma” that Ross endured.
