Edgar Junior was stopped by police as he exited the Elizabeth Line in Reading following ‘blatant and repeated sexual assault’ on a female passenger while he was riding alone. He boarded the train at Paddington and started harassing a woman right away despite repeated requests from other passengers for him to stop. Before the woman exited the car, Junior assaulted her, and a fellow passenger intervened to soothe her until she exited the train.

Detective Inspector Marvin Bruno stated: “Junior is a disturbing individual who subjected a woman to a blatant and persistent sexual assault while traveling alone on a train, and the prison sentence he was handed shows just how seriously these crimes are taken.”
