What happened to Chris Wallace?

Chris Wallace started broadcasting a new show on CNN after leaving Fox News after more than 18 years of service. He was given the opportunity to extend his contract with his old channel network, but he refused and considered leaving.

On December 12, 2021, he made a formal announcement on Fox News that it was his last day working for the network. She stated adamantly that he didn’t feel comfortable producing for Fox. He added it in November 2020 because he believed his time there was up and that next time it would be more similar.

He had said that he was now ready for a new adventure on CNN after spending a wonderful time on Fox. His program included interviews with politicians as well as discussions on business, sports and culture.

He went on to say that he was eager to explore the world of streaming after decades of television. Jeff Zucker, CNN’s global anchor, also expressed his delight at Chris’s addition to the network.

He recently started working for the network a few months ago. However, due to audience speculation, rumors of him resigning from CNN recently began to spread online. Some online users have blamed Wallace for the recent sharp drop in CNN’s ratings. Some even predicted that, out of embarrassment, he would lose his job or leave the network.

In the second half of 2021, Chris Wallace stated that he no longer felt comfortable producing for Fox. He worked at ABC for 14 years of his life before joining the network. In 2003, Wallace replaced Tony Snow as the anchor of Fox News Sunday.

He claims he left Fox News when staff members began questioning the veracity of articles about the Jan. 6 violence and whether the 2020 election was rigged, despite his remarkable accomplishments while employed by the network.

He found it untenable to work there, so he refused to extend his contract as host of “Fox News Sunday” in December and switched to competitor CNN. He claimed that he had spent most of 2021 analyzing various businesses in an effort to find the one that was the best fit for him. Therefore, he is currently employed by CNN.

Rumors of Chris Wallace leaving CNN are addressed

Chris Wallace worked for Fox for 18 years, covering nearly every major political event and landing a series of high-profile interviews with American dignitaries and leaders. In February 2009, Fox gave him the first interview with President Barack Obama.

Along with Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly, he also served as moderator for the March 3, 2016 Republican Party presidential debate on Fox News. In addition, he had a conversation with President Donald Trump in 2017 after the latter’s victory.

However, he left the network and went to work for CNN, his bitter rival. He has started a new CNN show called “Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace?” CNN+ was discontinued and changed to CNN and HBO Max. After that, the four-night show moved to Sundays Weekly. He has yet to comment on leaving CNN.
