Washington DC police have reportedly arrested a 26-year-old homeless man for allegedly beating and choking Democratic Rep. Angie Craig in the elevator of her Washington, DC apartment building on Thursday, February 9, around 7 a.m. :15 a.m. The man identified as Kendrick Hamlin has been arrested and charged with simple assault for the attack on Craig, the Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release Thursday night.
